Here’s a screenshot of the UFC Poker lobby. It’s simple, but needs a lot of work.
If you click on the ‘Community’ tab you’ll see some options here. There is a ‘Find a Player’ function but it doesn’t work, so if you’re trying to find a friend (or foe), good luck. There is also a ‘Player Profile’ button and when clicked it takes you to a website that has nothing to do with UFC Poker…some ad I guess. Whatever it is, it’s really cheesy. Skip this whole site and play at a real poker room… try Bodog Poker and you’ll be much happier.
With exception of tournament listings themselves, everything else you click on seems to open up a browser window and send you to a site or page that has nothing to do with what you clicked on…it’s very bizarre.
I also noticed that the lobby continually clicks and flashes as ads on the right side of the lobby change. Another irritating aspect of the lobby.
If you click on ‘Get More Points’ you will see that it’s not like other poker rooms where they just load up more points and you start playing. At UFC Poker you have to fill out surveys or answer the daily trivia question if you want more points – ghey.
Just trying to figure out the lobby was irritating. Once again, I realize that the room is designed to help promote the UFC, but it’s just done so poorly that I don’t know why anyone would play here. If you want to play at a real poker site where things work the way they should, with tons of great games, promotions & options, play at Bodog Poker instead.
