Like watching video ads with volume you can’t turn off without turning down your speakers? Great, because that’s what you get at the UFC Poker room while you wait for a tournament to start. If you were listening to music or something else, too bad because now it’ll get drained out by wonderful ads for junk you don’t want. Scroll down this page to compare it to the table at Bodog Poker.

Here’s a screen shot of the UFC Poker table. As you can see, more ads on both the right and bottom of the table. What’s worse is that they constantly change & flash and make the table software act up. One ad at the bottom flashes so fast from black to white that I thought I was drunk at the club.
It’s difficult to know when it’s your turn to act, I kept finding myself looking really closely around the table to see who’s turn it was to act. When it is your turn, the buttons are odd and not very user friendly. I’ll say this again… I don’t want to pick on UFC Poker, I want this to become a viable room for people who enjoy the game.
Another irritating aspect of the UFC Poker tables is that you can’t move your seat. You are forced to sit wherever they seat you. Although I hope to be able to tell you something more positive in the future, for now this just isn’t a good place to play. All of the options players are looking for are all at your finger tips. You don’t have to click on drop-down menus or search all over to find what you need. Also, the buttons are big and clear, and players can sit wherever they like.
You’ll also have several options for changing the table appearance. Different backgrounds can be used to style the table however you like. The sound effects are dramatically better, and lots of table options are available to customize it to your liking. This is the way it should be done.
